Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of SELFISH. By using the app you agree to them. The seller and contracting party is Selfish.
The service
Selfish lets you meet an AI-generated future self: images, audio and video created from your own photos, voice and story, plus exercises, progress tracking and optional therapist support. Selfish supports personal growth and does not replace professional care, diagnosis or treatment.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service: no unlawful use, fraud or spam, no infringement of others' rights, no malware, probing or scraping, and no attempts to bypass technical limits. You may only upload photos and voice recordings of yourself, or material you have the rights to. AI-generated content may be inaccurate and is not professional advice.
Your content
You keep your rights to the photos, voice and texts you provide. You grant Selfish a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the service to you. AI-generated images, audio and video made for you are yours to use within the app. We may remove content or refuse outputs that violate these terms, and repeat infringement can lead to suspension.
Payments and subscriptions
Membership is by application. Client membership is a monthly Stripe or PayPal subscription, renewing until cancelled. Clients can cancel at any time (Stripe via the link in their receipt email, PayPal in their PayPal account) and keep access until the end of the paid month. The therapist practice licence is a yearly Stripe subscription, renewing yearly until cancelled before the renewal date. Access is activated manually after payment.
Intellectual property
Selfish owns the service and its intellectual property, including the software, design and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app within your plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it.
Availability and liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. When your account ends, your data is deleted as described in the privacy notice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you another forum.
